How do I choose a stylist?
Call and speak to Kelly, who is our Front of House and she will advise you on the stylist depending on the cut/style/colour that you require. We will work around your convenience and the availability of the stylist to ensure your expectations are met. Check our special offers to see if any are applicable to you first!
Do I need a patch test done if I am having my hair coloured for the first time?
WE CANNOT COLOUR YOUR HAIR IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PATCH TESTED.
A patch test takes 30 seconds to complete so simply pop into the salon when you’re passing 48 hours before your appointment if you are booked for a new re-colour style. Professional salons will NOT colour your hair without you first being patch tested.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Some days are busier than others. Whilst you may be able to get an appointment on the day, we cannot always guarantee there will be a stylist free at your desired time. To avoid disapointment, call at least a week before to ensure you can get the stylist and time that suits you best. Call 01753 880211 now.
Can I buy Aveda products from your salon?
All the products we use at Mortimers are Aveda products. We stock a wide variety of both the hair and body Aveda range, but should you wish to order products that we do not stock, we will happily order these in for you. Alternatively you can access the Aveda website at www.aveda.co.uk and purchase products online.
What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm. There will be seasonal occasions when the salon will have extended opening hours. Call reception to check or go to our contact page for the latest opening times.
How do I find your salon?
We are situated off the High Street in Chalfont St. Peter at 21 Market Place. There is ample parking for a maximum of one hour on Market Place. If your appointment is longer than an hour there is pay and display parking behind Budgens supermarket or in Church Lane at the bottom of the Market Place.
