Patch Testing...do I need a Patch Test...?

If we're colouring your hair for the first time, or if it's your first time having your hair coloured at Mortimers, then yes. Professional salons will NOT colour your hair without you first being patch tested. A patch test takes 30 seconds to complete. WE CANNOT COLOUR YOUR HAIR IF YOU HAVE NOT BEEN PATCH TESTED. Simply pop into the salon when you’re passing 48 hours before your appointment if you are booked for a new re-colour style.
How far in advance do I need to book...?

Some days are busier than others. Whilst you may be able to get an appointment on the day, we cannot always guarantee there will be a stylist free at your desired time. We suggest call at least a week in advance to ensure you can get the stylist and time that suits you best. Call us on 01753 880211
Can I buy Aveda products from your salon...?

All the products we use at Mortimers are Aveda products. We stock a wide variety of Aveda hair and body range available from our Mortimers Online Shop Should you wish to order products that we do not stock or cannot find what you are looking for please call us on 01753 880211
What are Mortimers opening hours...?

We are open Tuesday to Saturday (closed Sunday and Monday) - Tuesday 9am-5pm - Wednesday 9am-6pm - Thursday 9am-6pm - Friday 9am-6pm - Satuday 8.30am-6pm There will be seasonal occasions when the salon has extended opening hours. For appointments and information please call on 01753 880211
